Drug & Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) Support
The Corporate Research Unit currently provides research support to the Northumberland Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT), part of the Northumberland Community Safety Partnership. Responsibilities include liaising with drug treatment agencies to ensure correct reporting of data to the national drug treatment monitoring system (ndtms); monitoring the performance of those agencies and associated work to improve performance where necessary; producing the young peoples and adults needs assessments and doing ad hoc pieces of substance misuse research as and when required.
