Fire Research & Information (Stronger Communities)
Fire & Rescue Service Support
Northumberland Corporate Research Unit (InfoNet) have recently been tasked by Northumberland Fire & Rescue Service (NFRS) to design a customer satisfaction form, which is to be completed by households following a previous Home Fire Safety check and smoke alarm fitting. The results will been then analysed and reported on a quarterly basis. This will enable NFRS to receive feedback on the quality of how this service is being carried out. Other work includes presenting reports of results and analysis of results from home fire incidents on a quarterly basis. Future work is going to include a station ground profiling, in the form of a statistical breakdown of incident data by Station Area (there are currently 18), this work would be carried out on an annual basis.
